Introduction

The ISO team aims at providing efficient and timely services in the compilation and dissemination of accurate information about the University to its members, stakeholders and the public.

Our major tasks are three-thronged:
- the production of the University's major official publications, in both print and electronic formats;
- the collection, organization and dissemination of useful data and resources; and
- the content management of the University website.

Publication Schedule 2021-22

The target publication dates of the University publications within the purview of the Information Services Office are as shown below.

Out of policy considerations and/or operational needs, the Information Services Office may change any of the above dates without prior notice. We would try to maintain the timely production of these publications as targeted. Your kind understanding will be appreciated should there be any delay due to factors which fall outside our control.

* Except Chinese New Year and Summer Vacation; where the 4th and 19th day of a month is a public holiday, the Newsletter will be published on the next working day.

Performance Pledges

Publications

Subject to unforeseen circumstances such as printer strikes, we pledge to complete the production of the CUHK publications in accordance with the publication schedule and in any way:

  • Within 2 weeks of the scheduled dates for biannual or annual publications
  • Within 1 week of the scheduled dates for quarterly publications
  • Within 2 working days of the scheduled dates for biweekly publications

CUHK website

We pledge to update the CUHK website promptly to provide the most accurate information of the University at any one time. Prompt update means:

  • First response/acknowledgement on the same working day if request or new information is received at or before 3:00 pm
  • First response/acknowledgement within the next working day if request or new information received after 3:00 pm
  • In any case, reply or handling within 3 working days for simple enquiries or requests that do not fall outside ISO's ambit
