中大通讯 CUHK Newsletter 6 中大商学生勇夺市场推广比赛冠军及季军 Marketing Students Win L’Oréal Brandstorm International Marketing Award — Hong Kong Finals 两 支市场学系学生组成的队 伍参加上月十日举行的 L’Oréal Brandstorm 国际市场推广 比赛香港区决赛,分别夺得冠军和 季军。 L’Oréal Brandstorm 国际市场推广比 赛香港区决赛至今已举办了三年, 是专为就读大学最后两年的本科生 而设。比赛旨在提升本地大学生在 市场推广的实务经验,以及培育优 秀的国际推广专才。参赛者模拟为 L’Oréal 旗下的品牌经理,为专业发 廊品牌男士造型系列「 Redken 」创 出一套全新的国际市场推广策略。 中大、港大、科大及理大获邀各派 出两队参赛。中大队伍 Apollo,成 员包括金志菁、何静芝及吴子洋获 得冠军,而另一队伍 Starmiz ,成 员包括张雁伶、颜宇鹏及黄家鸿则 获季军。 Apollo 建议推出有护发功效及含蛋 白质的定型产品,成功突出产品具 天然成分的好处,而市场上并未有 同类产品以此作定位。队员对于获奖非常兴奋,并认为比赛的经验不可多得。 Apollo 将 于六月十四日代表香港远赴法国巴黎,与全球其他顶尖学院角逐总冠军。 (左起) 中大市场学系苏丽文教授、 L’Oréal 人力资源总监叶若琳小姐、何静芝、吴子洋、金志菁 ( From left ) Prof. Stella So of CUHK Department of Marketing, Ms. Kitty Yip, human resources director of L’Oréal, and members of the winning team 中大女子乒乓球队四连冠 Women’s Table Tennis Team Wins Gold 中 大校队于二零零六至零七年度「香港大专杯女子乒乓球决赛」以三比一击败理 大,勇摘桂冠,连续四年称王。 决赛于三月二十五日在香港专业教育学院 ( 柴湾分校 ) 举行。夺标过程并非一帆风顺,中 大队初赛时负给理大,仅以分组次名出线,晋身四强。其后在准决赛越战越勇,中大队 先以三比零击退港大队,打入决赛,与理大队再次较量。中大队凭着高昂的士气,稳定 的发挥及巧妙的排阵,终于取胜。 T he final round of the 2006–2007 University Sports Federation of Hong Kong (USFHK), China Women’s Table Tennis Competition was held on 25 March 2007 at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Chai Wan). The CUHK women’s team played against PolyU team for the second time, having met them in the preliminary round. Our team won 3:1. This was the team’s fourth consecutive championship in the competition. C UHK marketing under- graduates won the L’Oréal Brandstorm International Marketing Award—Hong Kong Finals on 10 April. This year, four universities including CUHK, HKU, HKUST, and PolyU were invited to send two teams each to the competition. One of the CUHK teams Apollo, formed by Collete King ( right 1 ), Richard Ng ( right 2 ) and Grace Ho ( middle ) won first place while the other team Starmiz, formed by Fanny Cheung, Dennis Ngan and Truman Wong, came third. The aim of the competition is to enhance students’ real-life knowledge of marketing and nurture international marketing perspectives. Participants were asked to assume the role of a marketing brand manager and revamp an existing L’Oréal brand, Redken. The winning team launched a styling product with protein firm-hold technology and an innovative hair care feature. The Hong Kong Finals is open to undergraduate students in the final two years of their studies. L’Oréal also aims to recruit the best students for their company through the competition.
