Lecture Series Topics:
Natural Language Processing and Mathematics E-Learning
Dr. CHEUNG Leung Fu (Department of Mathematics)
The lecture probes the interrelationship among language and natural language processing. Mathematical language has many similarities to natural languages. We can parse mathematical texts with the help of ideas from linguistics and computer programs. Some of these ideas are useful in developing semi-automatic graders of math questions.
COVID-19’s Impacts on Our Air Quality
Prof. CHAN Man Nin (Earth System Science Programme)
The lecture explores the origins of different air pollutants and introduces the COVID-19’s impact on our air quality.
